Officine fake Panerai dedicates 2020 to its iconic Luminor collection whose name derives from a revolutionary tritium-based substance with self-luminous properties, Luminor, which was registered in Rome, with a trademark patent, on January 26, 1950. The new Luminor Marina (PAM01313) – 44mm reworks, without upsetting it, the identity of one of its legendary models, a real milestone of Made in Italy design.
Of the new PAM01313 we appreciate the contrast between the matte brushed finish of the AISI 316L steel case (44 mm x 15.65 mm) with that of the polished bezel, also in steel. The choice of alternating satin and glossy details allows the dial to stand out even more. The presence of the Safety Lock crown protection device, here in brushed steel, is inevitable. The blue dial with satiné soleil finish is proposed in its historic sandwich configuration, which has always been a hallmark of Officine Panerai’s DNA. On it stands out, at 9 o’clock, the second that well balances the Arabic number. At 3 o’clock there is the small window of the date, a presence that, although discreet, could make the most purists and lovers of “minimal squared” dials turn up a little. The indexes are in white Super-LumiNova with a neon green luminescence which, in addition to enlivening the dial, allows perfect readability even in low light conditions. To protect the dial, a sapphire cryst al obtained from corundum was opted for. The beating mechanical heart of this timepiece is the P.9010 in-house automatic caliber (200 components, 6 mm thick, 28,800 vibrations / hour, Glucydur balance wheel, Incabloc shockproof device, double barrel, 3-day power reserve, quick time adjustment can be changed in steps of one hour, forwards or backwards, automatically linked to the date indicator). The PAM01313, water resistant to 300 meters, features a 12-sided screwed brushed steel caseback and is secured to the wrist with a dark blue alligator leather strap with beige stitching and a brushed steel pin buckle.
