The Petite Tapisserie Bleu Nuit, Nuage 50 dial is a tribute to the original Royal Oak but now the blue color is obtained with a modern PVD treatment, a solution that Audemars say guarantees a uniform color and above all a uniform and more lasting shade.
Like the 50-year-old model this new anniversary Jumbo features baignoire-shaped indexes and hands with luminescent coating. Audemars Piguet’s signature, as well as the minute scale, is printed in white on the Tapisserie motif. For its part, the rotations of the cage of the flying tourbillon, which is made of titanium, reflect the hue of the Tapisserie motif with their blue reflections.
