The “fortissimo” sound of Fake Patek Philippe

Patek Philippe launches a futuristic minute repeater, born from the research of the “Advanced Research” department. The novelty lies in the implementation of a sound amplification system, which is of course entirely mechanical. Retaining the architecture of the basic movement, the famous automatic caliber R 27 with which the Maison signed the great return of minute repeaters in 1989, the engineers and builders of the manufacture have added a module called “ff” on the bridge side of the movement ( ie the one in contact with the wrist) which acts as a “mechanical speaker”. The amplification of the sound is carried out by a vibrating disc in synthetic sapphire crystal of 0.2 mm thickness which, vibrating together with the gongs of the repetition, compresses and dilates the small volume of air inside the case (just 0.2 mm separate the disc from the sapphire caseback) and acts as a loudspeaker membrane. The result is a stronger sound, which easily propagates outside the case thanks to the gaps between it and the caseback. The latter are equipped with a dust filter, to protect the movement and the membrane, as small grains of dust could compromise their operation. This technical advance, crowned by four patents, is featured in the fake Patek Philippe “Advanced Research” minute repeater Ref. 5750, a limited edition of 15 pieces that features a platinum case inspired by that of the Ref. 5178 minute repeater with “cathedral” stamps, only 0.57 mm thick for an unchanged diameter of 40 mm. The dial, structured in five parts, is distinguished by the central perforated motif inspired by the circles of vintage cars, as well as the small seconds disc at 6 o’clock. The white gold “flat dauphine” hands point to the applied indexes “kite” type in burnished white gold. The strap is in shiny orange alligator with black contrast stitching and platinum folding clasp.rolex replica
